SiM

Japanese genre vagabonds on first headline world tour in early 2027, five concerts in Germany

SiM are not just a band - SiM have become a phenomenon that has been thrilling audiences around the world since 2022. The quartet from the Japanese prefecture of Kanagawa mixes genres such as ska, reggae and punk with modern metalcore, hardcore and nu-metal to create a uniquely theatrical sound that is anything but conventional. SiM 's breakthrough came in 2022 with the release of their most successful song to date, "The Rumbling", which made their sound known worldwide. Also because the track was used as the opening for "Attack On Titan: The Final Seasons Part 2", for which it was awarded Best Anime Song and Best Opening Sequence at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in 2023. After their international breakthrough, which was completed in 2023 with the current album "PLAYDEAD", SiM toured the USA as support for Dance Gavin Dance and have also long since found their German audience on a European tour with Electric Callboy and Nothing More. After a first German headline show in Cologne in 2024, the Japanese band are now returning to play five headline concerts in Germany on their first full world tour. The Hooman After All World Tourwill take SiM to Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt am Main and Munich in February 2027. SiM (short for Silence Iz Mine) formed in 2004 and released their debut album "Silence Iz Mine" in 2008. Until their international breakthrough, however, they mainly toured in Japan and continuously expanded their discography with the albums "Seeds of Hope" (2011), "Pandora" (2013), "The Beautiful People" (2016) and "Thank God, There Are Hundreds of Ways to Kill Enemies" (2020). This brought the band into the top 10 of the Japanese charts several times and made SiM a driving force in the J-metal scene. Since then, however, MAH (vocals), SHOW-HATE (guitar), GODri(drums) and SIN(bass) have long since gone from being a national phenomenon to a globally acclaimed live act. They take the spirit of 2000s nu-metal and combine it with reggae, ska, punk and modern metalcore to create a sound that found its most mature form to date on the album "PLAYDEAD" 2023, via UNFD, and made songs such as "UNDER THE TREE" or "RED" (which also serves as the title track of the second season of the Netflix anime series "Kengan Ashura") into further successful titles. After their international breakthrough, SiM 2025 followed up with the single "CHAMPiONS" and continued their musical development. This is also the case on their latest release "FiVE TiMES DEAD (by my wallet)", on which SiM combine modernmetalcore with their catchy side to create an insane mix of brutal breakdowns, catchy vocals and danceable reggae parts.
