Silent reading is quiet reading time. A time-out without conversations and distractions, without smartphones. People get together to read in peace in the company of others. Everyone for themselves, but together. To focus, to immerse yourself in a book undisturbed, to escape the external sensory overload.
Whether with your own reading material from home or a current book from the library: silent reading is a relaxed time-out in a feel-good atmosphere.
