Selig

The German grunge legends are still going strong: Following their successful “30 Years of Selig” tour, Selig will be playing in Reutlingen again for the first time since 2019. Since 1993, the band has been delivering catchy songs and continues to this day—with nearly the original lineup—to perform with the same energy on stages across Germany and Austria. In the early ’90s, Selig made a name for themselves with their self-titled debut album. A blend of grunge and rock with German lyrics was something that hadn’t been done before. With over 200,000 copies sold, “Selig” ranks among the most important German-language albums of its time.  Despite a nine-year hiatus, the band still consists of founding members Jan Plewka, Leo Schmidthals, Christian Neander, and Stoppel Eggert.
