"Seid Menschen!" Eine Circus-Collage über Meinung, Mut und Mitbestimmung

On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 18:00, the circus theater piece "Seid Menschen!" will celebrate its premieres at the Bajazzo Schanzenzelt in Hamburg's Sternschanzenpark. 18 artists from the youth group Cirque Mix of the circus school Die Rotznasen e. V. are staging biographies of victims of Nazi persecution in cooperation with the Hamburg Foundation of Memorials and Places of Learning in Memory of the Victims of Nazi Crimes and making an artistic plea for democratic values, diversity and human rights. The production combines artistry with stories of persecution, expulsion and resistance in the past and present. The young people aged between 12 and 15 build an artistic bridge from the past to the present and the future. They want to make a statement for humanity, remembrance and an open society.
