Schwanen Open Stage • Spielzeit 2026/27

The Kulturhaus Schwanen in Waiblingen regularly hosts the popular "Open Stage" series. The open stage in the Rems Valley, which has been a permanent fixture in the regional cultural calendar for over ten years.
Under the motto "Talent meets stage fright", the open stage offers a platform for up-and-coming and established artists to present their skills across a diverse spectrum. And if you decide to perform spontaneously, you even have the chance of a last-minute slot, which is allocated by lottery during the show.

From newcomers to stage professionals: over 10 years of the "Remstal Open Stage" at Schwanen!
For over a decade, the Kulturhaus Schwanen's "Open Stage" has offered beginners as well as semi-professional and experienced artists the chance to develop their skills in a relaxed and creative setting. Under the motto "Talent meets stage fright", the audience can expect a diverse program of music, comedy, cabaret, poetry slam, acting, dance, magic and much more. Each evening will be accompanied by presenter Christian Langer, who will charmingly and humorously guide the audience through the program.

An evening full of variety and surprises
The Schwanen Open Stage stands for a colorful mixture of entertainment, talent show and variety - in the style of the Open Stage Variety at the Berliner Scheinbar. Whether newcomers or old hands, everyone is welcome to take to the stage and wow the audience with their performances.

Artists who would like to be part of the program can register for one of the coveted slots at openstage@kulturhaus-schwanen.de.
Please note: Please allow for waiting times - normally a maximum of one performance per season is possible.

Looking for a last-minute slot?
If you prefer to decide spontaneously, you can enter the lottery pot at the Box Office for the last-minute slot. Please note: preference will be given to "new" artists.
