Schutzwesen. Superkräfte der Natur
In the organizer's words:
The immersive panorama by artist Yorleny Cardozo Peña vividly depicts the flora and fauna of the Colombian mountain range, as well as guardian figures dating back thousands of years. In an artistic lab, students explore the superpowers of animals, examine insects and plants with digital microscopes, learn about the vital importance of biodiversity, and design their own three-dimensional guardian creature.
The workshop was developed as part of a collaboration between the Instituto Colombiano de Antropología e Historia (ICANH) and CoMuse, the Collaborative Museum at the Ethnological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art in Berlin. It aims to empower children to discover their own “superpowers” so they don’t feel powerless in the face of climate change and species extinction.
