Schulklassen-Lesung: „Nuri, Deniz und die Kraft der Sternfeder“ – Buchpremiere mit Autorin Andrea Karimé

Noch niemand hat sich das Event gemerkt.

In the organizer's words:

When Nuri’s parents travel to Lebanon to visit his grandmother and his aunt moves in with him, some really strange things start to happen: Nuri accidentally skips school, a talking crocodile shows up, and a girl who calls herself “Sea Spoon” slips him mysterious messages. Her real name is Deniz. Her hobbies are illogical words and boxing; right now, she’s mainly fighting her battle with cancer.
This imaginative story about friendship and writing follows in the footsteps of the Jewish poet Rose Ausländer (1901–1988) and recalls her inspiring legacy: Words can give strength! And so can friendship.

Andrea Karimé grew up surrounded by the sounds of many languages and worked as an elementary school teacher before becoming a children’s book author. She has already published 23 children’s books and has been honored with the Austrian State Prize for Children’s and Young Adult Literature, among other awards. She lives in Cologne.
