Schröders Garten: Anna Depenbusch solo am Klavier
In the organizer's words:
Anna Depenbusch is the epitome of a singer-songwriter. A singing poet who developed her own distinctive style—somewhere between Edith Piaf, Hildegard Knef, and Björk—at an early age. Through her music, the Hamburg native tells stories full of emotion, poetry, and vitality. Her lyrics
are at times tender, at times eloquent, ranging from deeply sad to hilariously funny. Anna Depenbusch writes, composes, and produces songs that are authentically relatable. She now has five studio albums and two solo albums to her credit. She has toured venues ranging from the Elbphilharmonie to the Prinzregententheater. She has received numerous awards, including the Fred Jay Prize and the German Chanson Prize, as well as two nominations for the German Music Authors’ Prize. There’s
there’s no end in sight.
On September 3, she’ll be coming to Lüneburg for a very special evening and performing her solo program on our open-air stage. The audience has every reason to be excited and look forward to this evening—filled with heart and humor.
