Salon K – Das Kulturfestival im Berliner Lettekiez

Dear Audience,

Welcome to the 16th edition of “Salon K”! From September 3–6, this art and culture festival—with free admission—will once again bring a diverse program to Berlin’s Lettekiez neighborhood.

On the first day of the festival, you can get creative at two workshops on Letteplatz; in the evening, Italian musician Luca Burgio will perform Sinti-Dixi-Folk at the Showfenster Theater. At resiART on Friday, there will be a closing event featuring a performance and a hands-on activity, followed by an entertaining staged reading at M5 about the history of the telephone.

As always, Schäfersee Day (Sat., Sept. 5) features a particularly packed program: Two workshops invite you to try your hand at crafts and stop-motion filmmaking; singer Merve takes you on a musical journey around the world; there’s the dance performance “Farra” on stilts, and the Tur Tur Theater presents “The Love for the Three Oranges” for all ages, while the band “Waterig Eye” plays the best folk, world, and pop music. On Sunday, the Atze Musiktheater will present the children’s play “You Started It! No, You Did!” at Letteplatz.
