Retrato Chicha – Chicha-Porträt Workshop mit Eric Cardenas (Peru)

Paint your own Chicha portrait! Transform a photo of your choice into a unique work of art using a palette of three vibrant colors. In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of vectorization and image composition and create a portrait in the distinctive Chicha style using acrylic paints. At the end, you’ll get to take home a piece of art you created yourself!

*Please bring a copy of a black-and-white photo of your choice in A4 format!

Eric Eduardo Cardenas Florez (IG:@superchatoeric)is an interdisciplinary artist from Peru who works across photography, video, installation, and painting. Trained at the PUCP and the Escuela Corriente Alterna in Peru, he creates works that make memories visible and draw attention to hidden realms of human experience.
