After the "Remember Rofa Thursday 1993-2002" - Summer Party 2025 was so well received, the alternative time travel to the 90s will also take place this summer on Sat. 15.08.26 from 21.00h! January 7, 1993 marked the birth of a special party series that changed Augsburg's nightlife. The so-called Crossover Thursday opened its doors for the first time in the Rockfabrik, which was known far beyond the city limits. Away from a homogeneous mix of music, towards a wild mixture of all underground genres without blinkers. Grunge met hip-hop, dark wave met metal and indie met industrial. After a few initial difficulties, the evening quickly went through the roof and quickly became a magnet for going out all over Bavaria, and that during the week - almost unimaginable today! DJ NT was also allowed to take to the mixing desk for the first time on this first Thursday in January 1993 - and is still known today as a DJ in many clubs in the area or as a concert booker or organizer of the queer Lovepop parties!
In terms of sound, there will once again be music from all the alternative genres and the sound that was played on Rofa Thursday from 1993 up to and including 2002, before DJ NT took a break at the Rockfabrik. You can look forward to the biggest hits from crossover, hip hop, grunge, skate punk, alternative rock, trip hop, German rap, big beat, NuMetal, drum & bass and much more!
