Rainer Bock & Harald Lesch - Trost und Kraft in diesen Zeiten. Lesung von Texte von Hanns Dieter Hüsch
In the organizer's words:
One evening. Two “Hüschians.” And the spirit of the third—the master himself: Hanns Dieter Hüsch.
With actor Rainer Bock (“The White Ribbon,” “Better Call Saul,” “Atlas,” and many more) and astrophysicist, science journalist, and television host Harald Lesch (“Lesch’s Cosmos,” “Terra X”), two leading figures in their respective fields lend their voices to Hüsch’s timeless texts, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in his profound and subtly humorous world of thought.
Hüsch’s unique poetic and literary cabaret—marked by linguistic brilliance and often socially critical—accompanied and shaped generations of people. Last year, the native of the Lower Rhine region would have turned 100—and his words feel more relevant today than ever. They are words of comfort; words that inspire courage and give strength. They bring people together by encouraging reflection and providing space for dialogue—and, not least, by sharing smiles and, at times, hearty laughter, making this reading evening an unforgettable experience.
Side note: The Pantheon also had close ties to Hanns Dieter Hüsch, as he was awarded the “Cabaret Oscar” there (at the time still located on Bundeskanzlerplatz) in 1999 during a gala evening in the tradition of the “Brettl.” Shortly before the turn of the millennium, an illustrious group of fellow performers was in attendance: Matthias BRODOWY, Matthias DEUTSCHMANN, Erwin GROSCHE, Helmut LÖRSCHER, Rainer PAUSE, PIGOR + EICHHORN, Otto SANDER, and Tina TEUBNER.
Doors open at approximately 6:00 p.m.
