RADAR: Swinda Oelke – Finissage

Drawing on many years of exploration into the technical design of the projector and its possibilities, Swinda Oelke’s artistic practice delves deeply into the techniques of light projection. In her video sculptures, the focus is not only on the projectors themselves but also on the infrastructure of the respective exhibition space. In doing so, she reveals the complex inner workings of the devices, while the physical characteristics of the environment are explored through the video projections.

As part of the closing event for herRADAR project“Ray Optics, ” Swinda Oelke will join assistant curator Vivien Kämpf at 4 p.m. for a conversation offering deeper insight into her artistic practice and the background of the site-specific installation.
