"Queer up! Comedy": Markus Barth presents the LGBTQ comedy show at Gloria for the fourth time on June 6
During Pride Month, Cologne's Gloria will once again be the meeting place for the best queer comedians from all over Germany. Because on June 6, it's time again for one of the most successful new shows: After three sold-out shows, it's "Queer up! Comedy" for the fourth time.
"Times are far too humorless and colorless. It's high time for some really good jokes and plenty of glitter," says presenter and stand-up comedian Markus Barth, who created the show three years ago and is presenting it again this year. "We always find such great new talents who all have their very own view of the world and queer life - we simply have to present them to the Cologne audience."
This time, the line-up includes: Sascha Korf, Philip Leinenbach, Julia Brandner, Pam Pengco and Tobias Born. In addition, Miss Allie, the singer-songwriter with a heart, will storm the stage as a special guest and DJane Lana Delicious will bring the necessary atmosphere to the Gloria with her Brazilian-Cologne beats.
Markus Barth has been a stand-up comedian and presenter on German stages as well as on TV and radio for years. He presents his own program "Kabarett aus Franken" on Bavarian television and hosts the true dating podcast "Wilde Geschichten" together with Nina Goldberg. He is currently on tour with his program "Pures Gold".
