Following the successful series of joint projects in 2025—including zART in Berlin and LEKKA, REM, Humility, and talk in Poznań—the Berliner Künstler Association and the Jeżyckie Centrum Kultury are continuing their collaboration in 2026 with two international exhibitions in Berlin and Poznań. Artists from both countries are jointly developing a transcultural dialogue on friendship, ecological interconnectedness, and social responsibility.
The exhibition PRZYJAŹŃ / FREUNDE conceives of friendship as a sustainable practice between people, nature, and society. Marking the 35th anniversary of the signing of the German-Polish Treaty on Good Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation, it invites visitors to reflect on forms of responsible coexistence—beyond national borders and with an awareness of our mutual connection to the natural environment. In this context, the exhibition brings together diverse artistic perspectives that explore friendship as an aesthetic, social, and ecological concept.
