Projekt Rüttenscheid

Projekt Rüttenscheid is a free street festival held in the heart of Essen’s Rüttenscheid neighborhood and organized by essendiese. Local newcomers and nationally renowned artists alike perform on a total of seven stages. The focus is on hip-hop, indie, and electronic music. Projekt Rüttenscheid will take place for the fourth time in 2026 and is one of the most important youth culture events in the Ruhr region.

June 26 is the day before the festival. On this day, only one electronic music stage on Martinstr. will be open. On June 27, all other stages will open.
