Potsdamer Tanztage: Empathic Chamber / Al-Monboso

At the invitation of choreographer Thomas Hauert, Yasmine Hugonnet and Radouan Mriziga are creating two pieces for the dance students of La Manufacture in Lausanne. Both performances, which focus on human interaction and the influence of natural landscapes on art, emphasize the relationship between the individual and their environment. Empathic Chamberer exploreshuman relationships through movement. Yasmine Hugonnet explores the way people reveal their emotions and how these are perceived by others, encouraging them to see the beauty of shared experiences. In Al-Monboso Radouan Mriziga questions the influence of landscapes on art, philosophy and science at a time when they are often exploited for profit. He focuses on the mountains, symbols of romanticism, and examines their historical significance, emphasizing the mountains as symbols of resistance. Through art inspired by these landscapes, the piece fuels the debate on the environment.
