In the organizer's words:
Joanna Holewa Chrona is a Swedish-born dancer, choreographer, project manager and DJ. At the Potsdamer Tanztage 2024, she will not only be DJing as Shuwana, but will also be dancing in the piece YEBO Yes! with her company Afia on the same evening. Ever since Joanna traveled to Johannesburg as a dancer to learn the isiPantsula, she has been in love with the house music scene there, whose spiritual and positive vibes made a big impression on her. DJing is a way for her to dive deeper into the music and connect with other people. She mainly plays a mixture of Afro House and Afro Tech.
