POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair 2026

The thirteenth edition of the POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair will take place September 10–13, 2026, at Tempelhof Airport, Hangars 5–6 . 

The POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair presents over 80 international galleries from 20 countries showcasing their most important works of contemporary and modern art. This year, there is a special focus on galleries from Turkey.

With an overwhelming response last year—drawing over 30,000 visitors—the POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair is a key cornerstone of the German art scene at the start of the fall season. The selected galleries have the opportunity to present their artistic programs and curatorial visions to a broad international audience of art professionals as part of Berlin Art Week.

The POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair 2026 will take place in the spacious Hangars 5 and 6 at Berlin-Tempelhof Airport . The hangars, with their 16-meter-high ceilings and light-filled halls, combined with the backdrop of the former airfield, offer a unique and extraordinary atmosphere across more than 10,000 square meters. This expansive space allows for a diverse and high-quality supporting program featuring special exhibitions, award ceremonies, talks, the Berlin Art Week Collectors Dinner, and many other highlights.

POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair has been an official partner since 2014 and is now the only art fair of Berlin Art Week, a prestigious event attracting over 140,000 visitors that brings together selected exhibition openings from Berlin galleries, private collections, project spaces, and major museums and institutions, including the Neue Nationalgalerie, Hamburger Bahnhof, KW Institute of Contemporary Art, Berlinische Galerie, Gropius Bau, and many more.
