Papier-Schichten: Rinde, Faser, Form

In the organizer's words:

Paper is already nature: compressed, smoothed, transformed. In this workshop, we return to its origins and question its malleability anew: where does paper come from and what does it become when we take it apart again?

Tearing, layering and superimposing create tree-like structures in postcard format. Fragments join together to form new barks, condensed landscapes of fibers, edges and spaces.

The resulting works look like small reconstructions of nature; not depicted, but conceived out of the material itself.

For participants: 8 years and older
Duration: 2 hours
Cost: €28 per person, incl. materials & museum admission
Accompanying persons have the opportunity to visit the exhibition at the regular admission price.
