On Thursday evening at 6 pm, the Kölnisches Stadtmuseum will open the new OPEN SPACE "Olga Oppenheimer. On the 140th birthday of a repressed artist".
Come by!

The new OPEN SPACE focuses on an important but largely forgotten artist. The fate of Olga Oppenheimer - murdered by the National Socialists in 1941 - is exemplary for many other repressed female artists of the early 20th century whose biographies were broken by external violence or social attributions.

At the opening, you will have the opportunity to talk to the curator, our museum team and each other. And to find out much more about Olga Oppenheimer and her life.
