Odonische Freitagsbühne

The Odonische Freitagsbühne is afree concert series that takes place every Friday from May through September in Odonien’s sculpture park. It offers local and regional musicians—especiallyup-and-coming artists—a valuable opportunity to perform their music for an audience.

Free admission, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; donations for the artists are appreciated.

Hertzkammer presents “Newcomer Sounds,” featuring highly talented up-and-coming artists, each bringing their very own “pop sound.” Since we want to introduce you to as many artists as possible, it’ll be a vibrant evening with LIVE MUSIC, cold drinks, and wonderful people. So please come early so that as many artists as possible get a chance to perform. It’s the perfect occasion to discover new music and connect with other members of the Cologne music scene. We’re looking forward to seeing you!

7:00 p.m.sinestrarehearsals.Indie rock

8:00 p.m. Thus Problemis a band from Hamburg that falls somewhere between indie and post-punk, loud and soft sounds, gentle songs, and loud screams. With dark guitar sounds, a mix of serious themes and a fun-punk attitude, experimentation, and improv, this bass/drums/guitar trio can be found anywhere there are still concerts with affordable beer.

9:00 p.m. STRESSfromCologne break down the boundaries between indie and punk, capturing the
pulse of modern urban life. They delve deep into the everyday questions that surround us, without pretending to have all the answers. STRESS—stories of urban unrest, of euphoria and panic, of resistance and change.

7:00 p.m.Steve Loren & The FizzersFromloud to soft, from funky to mellow—musically, just about anything goes, and you’ll find it all reflected in their songs. Somewhere between alternative rock, funk, soul, and a dash of kitsch, Steve Loren & The Fizzers are simply about music—and everything that goes with it.

8:00 p.m.tiniecreaturesRaw energy, melancholy, and just the right amount of theatricality—Tinie Creatures moves between very soft tones, driving grooves, and danceable beats. With an ease that makes their meticulous songwriting seem almost casual, the musicians create small magical moments, only to let them explode into surprising twists the very next moment.

9:00 p.m. QuburFoundedin Osnabrück in 2018,Qubur isa quartet consisting of saxophone, piano/keyboards, bass, and drums. With the exception of the drummer, all band members also play effects, creating a unique band sound.

9:00 p.m. Astral KompaktSince its founding in 2017,thestoner power trio Astral Kompakt has carved out a solid place for itself in instrumental stoner rock. The band draws inspiration from genres such as punk, blues, and metal, creating a unique blend with a powerful and unmistakable sound.
