The String Company – A musical adventure through the world of sounds!
With its unique blend of world music, Gypsy, Balkan, Klezmer, and chanson, this Erfurt-based ensemble enchants its audience. The musicians come from a wide variety of musical backgrounds and blend their diverse influences into a harmonious whole. At the concert, listeners can expect a vibrant mosaic of sounds, rhythms, and melodies that reflects the traditions of Gypsy, Klezmer, Balkan, and world music in all their diversity. 
As a highlight, the band presents its song cycle based on the Jewish Treasure, featuring mysterious objects such as a tuning fork and a small silver box. In addition, the song “Tojwle” allows the audience to immerse themselves in the spiritual atmosphere of a mikveh and be enchanted by the fascinating sounds.
