NAPA - Euro Tour Frankfurt

In the organizer's words:

A cellar on the island of Madeira was the starting point. Five friends, music and an idea. What began as a youthful project with a sound that moved between the energy of the Arctic Monkeys and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the melodies of the Beatles and the poetic intimacy of Caetano Veloso and Tom Jobim is now one of Portugal's most acclaimed bands. NAPA are coming to Germany for the first time in November 2026.

Their first songs found an audience far beyond the island via YouTube. The band swapped English for their native language and their grandmother's cellar for a real studio. In 2019, the debut album "Senso Comum" was released, recorded at Black Sheep Studios in Sintra. The infectious melodies and raw, melancholic spirit of the album slowly but surely found their way into the hearts of the Portuguese.

A second album followed in 2023 with "Logo Se Vê", which challenged the premises of the debut: more mature, more multi-layered, more inventive in the song structures. The romantic pop vein continues to pulsate, but the hunger for new rhythms and musical textures is palpable in every line.
In 2024, the band completed their first national tour of Portugal with dozens of sold-out shows, from clubs to theaters to festivals. The concert film "O Mundo Continua a Girar", recorded at the Teatro Maria Matos in Lisbon in big band format over two sold-out nights, was released at the end of the tour.

The decisive breakthrough came in 2025: NAPA took part in the Festival da Canção with "Deslocado", which had already collected millions of streams, won the competition and represented Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. The song is now quadruple platinum in Portugal, gold in Brazil, and was nominated for Best Song at the SIC Golden Globe Gala. The first international concerts in London, Madrid and Dublin followed in November 2025.

2026 began with sold-out headline shows at the Coliseus Porto and Lisboa in January. The third studio album is imminent.
