A great voice of jazz, known for her performances with Udo Jürgens and Paul Kuhn, will captivate us. Paul G. Ulrich on double bass and Wolfgang Behrendt on keyboard will contribute their part to a spectacular concert evening.

Singer Gaby Goldberg is a member of the “Da Capo Udo Jürgens” choir, alongside Brigitte Wullimann, Micha Dettwyler, and Kent Stetler. As a backup singer, Gaby accompanied Udo Jürgens on his final tours. She sang not only for Udo Jürgens but also for Udo Lindenberg, as a backup singer for Al Jarreau, and for Chaka Khan. She has performed at festivals and major concert tours such as “Pop Meets Klassik,” the Montreux Jazz Festival on the occasion of Quincy Jones’s 75th birthday, and the Nanjing Jazz Festival in China, as well as on numerous album productions. As a soloist, she performed with the big bands of Hessischer Rundfunk and Südwestrundfunk. In 1982, Gaby met Paul Kuhn for the first time. After performing two standards for him, she became the youngest member of the vocal group Ute Mann Singers and was a permanent member of the Paul Kuhn Band for many years. The legendary pianist, bandleader, and composer became her mentor. She learned a great deal from her famous mentor, especially the ease of movement so crucial for stage performances. From Udo, on the other hand, she learned precision during live performances. “His arrangements were often very difficult; you had to be very precise.”
