Muschelblume und Blei
In the organizer's words:
Along the Erft River, the exhibition*Muschelblume und Blei* (Shell Flower and Lead) presents artistic works by 16 international artists and collectives that explore aspects such as landscape and agriculture, extractivism, cohabitation, the passage of time and the seasons, as well as questions of how we perceive our surroundings, the fine line between fact and fiction, and migration and home. Through installations, performances, concerts, and short films, the exhibition creates a multifaceted space for reflection on what we call “landscape.”
All installations will be on view throughout the exhibition period from June 27 to September 19, 2026.
