On this evening, MüGa Park in Mülheim an der Ruhr will once again become a magnet for anyone who wants to experience electronic music in its purest form. The MÜLHEIM SUMMER OPEN AIR, with its Electronic Friday, has firmly established itself on the festival calendar since 2023 and, in 2026, will once again feature a lineup that promises the best vibes for celebrating an unforgettable summer.

In recent years, artists such as Fritz Kalkbrenner, Moguai, Alle Farben, Noel Holler, and David Puentez have shown just how deep the connection between music and emotion can be. In 2026, none other than Topic will headline the event, taking the crowd on this journey.

Whatever Topic takes on becomes music history. With “Breaking Me,” his 2020 hit featuring Swedish singer A7S, he not only topped the charts but also captured the pulse of the club scene. A track that gives people goosebumps worldwide and still captures the feeling of a perfect summer day. But it’s not just this one song that sets Topic apart: With “Your Love,” his reinterpretation of the ATB classic “9pm (Till I Come),” he has once again proven how to infuse old masterpieces with new energy. And “I Adore You,” his 2024 collaboration with French DJ HUGEL, embodies summer, sunshine, and pure freedom—that special feeling that pushes everything else into the background for a moment and lets you forget it all.

LARI LUKE is a versatile artist who experiments with bass house, dance/electro pop, and techno. With millions of streams for hits like “Out Of This Town” and “On Top Of The World,” as well as her latest single “Can’t Choose,” she has built a loyal fanbase. Her shows are legendary, and her sets at festivals like Nature One, Jucy Beats, and Lollapalooza are always a must-see.

With YouNotUs, Berlin cool hits the stage. With over a billion streams, numerous awards, and international performances, YouNotUs has established itself as a major force. “Samba” and “Narcotic” are perennial radio favorites; they combine emotional stories with danceable beats and create a great vibe and plenty of euphoria.

Rounding out the lineup is Mülheim-based DJ Frank Zappel Klemans, known for the “The Club” series and various parties at Franky’s Ruhrkristall, among other things. The perfect addition to an evening that’s more than just a party.
