Around 10 years ago, Miu from Hamburg flew to New York, played in the legendary "The Bitter End" and then quit her job in advertising. Her musical vision: retro-inspired soul pop in a contemporary production style combined with serious and thoughtful themes of a young woman struggling with herself and the world. Indie, she has brought her songs to ARD's Tatort, Netflix and brands such as Montblanc, was the first artist to play at the Elbphilharmonie - even before it opened, played support for acts such as Macy Gray, Gianna Nannini, Leon Bridges and Stefanie Heinzmann and crowdfunded her last two albums into the charts.
