SUMMER THEATER IN THE COURTYARD
Mirandolina, an attractive and enterprising innkeeper, is surrounded by men. The filthy rich Conte lavishes her with expensive gifts and the impoverished Marcese even proposes to her. Only the avowed misogynist Cavaliere remains to be converted. Two traveling comedians and the jealous house servant Fabrizio, who has plans of his own, lend the hostess a helping hand.
