Migration, Gründung & Pizza
In the organizer's words:
Have you moved to Germany from abroad and are starting a business here—or do you want to? Then share your perspective.
At “Migration, Startups & Pizza,” the focus is on the experiences of foreign founders. Three founders from the Visionskultur community will share personal and honest accounts of their startup experiences, challenges, and successes. The discussion covers bureaucracy, language, networks, and capital—but also international perspectives, resilience, courage, and new opportunities for Bremen’s startup ecosystem.
It’s about networking, sharing ideas, and diverse perspectives—with pizza, conversation, and discussion. Your experience matters—whether you’re just starting to think about starting a business, have already launched one, or support other founders.
Who is this for?
Primarily for foreign founders and people who have come to Germany from abroad and are starting a business here or would like to. Also invited are supporters, experts, and key players from the Bremen ecosystem who want to listen, learn, and get involved.
At “Migration, Startup & Pizza,” the experiences of foreign founders take center stage. Three founders share their personal stories: how they came to Germany, what they experienced while starting a business here, what barriers they faced, and what strengths helped them move forward. We’ll discuss bureaucracy, language, networks, and access to capital—but also international perspectives, resilience, courage, and the value foreign founders bring to Bremen’s startup ecosystem.
The evening is open, informal, and community-driven: featuring pizza, networking, and discussion. The goal is not to talk about foreign founders, but to talk with them. Your experience matters—whether you’re just thinking about starting a business, already building one, or supporting others on their journey.
Who is it for?
It’s especially for foreign founders and people who have come to Germany from abroad and want to start—or are already building—a business here. Supporters, experts, and ecosystem stakeholders from Bremen are also invited to listen, learn, and contribute.
