A CELEBRATION OF 50 YEARS RAMONES

Hey Ho, Let's Go - Four leather jackets, three chords: MELONES - a tribute to Ramones

MELONES, the most detailed and probably "longest-serving" active Ramones tribute band in the country, play their best-of show as a tribute to the four now deceased original members Joey, Deedee, Tommy and Johnny of the legendary US punk rock band.

The specialty of the MELONES is to come very close to the original, both musically and visually, in order to give the audience a perfect illusion of the Ramones. With their black leather jackets, tattered jeans, detailed wigs and the wall of sound of relentless three-chord hits, the time warp to the late 70s, when the Ramones turned the music world upside down, is perfect. "Sheena Is A Punkrocker", "Rock 'n Roll High School", "Blitzkrieg Bop", "Pet Semetary" and "Rockaway Beach" are among the many other classics in the MELONES live set. A One-Two-Three-Four will be thrown in between the songs in legendary energetic Ramones style.

The Ramones formed 50 years ago and this will be celebrated Live'n'Loud at LOGO Hamburg. And 30 years ago (1995) "Adios Amigos", the last studio album, was released - all the more reason to shake a leg and shake your head wildly on this tribute evening.
