„Mein lieber Scholli!“ Ein Tegtmeier-Nachmittag mit Carsten Bülow
In the organizer's words:
“My goodness!”—a show in honor of the great Ruhr region comedian, cabaret artist, actor, and author Jürgen von Manger. Bülow embodies von Manger’s iconic character, Adolf Tegtmeier, like no one else. Even though he doesn’t look anything like him. Bülow doesn’t wear a mask—but the characteristic cap is an indispensable part of his look.
Don’t miss this entertaining evening filled with incomparably brash charm. You’ll hear classics such as: “Sex Education,” “The Engagement Speech,” “The Mother-in-Law Murderer,” and “The Great Western Story.” The audience will also learn about the actor Jürgen von Manger, who actually had a career in classical theater behind him before he became a Tegtmeier. Of course, there will be singing as well, because a “Tegtmeier Evening” without “Bottroper Bier” is unthinkable.
Carsten Bülow, born in 1963, lives in Dortmund. He has been acting in theater since his school days. After 10 years at the Dortmund City Theater, he has been working as a freelance actor, reciter, host, and voice actor since 2010. He has appeared in numerous productions, including at the Wuppertal Opera, the Theater Fletsch Bizzl, and on the MS Europa. He is considered a specialist in classical texts, having given about 1,000 readings to date.
