Make it and take it!
In the organizer's words:
Bring an old T-shirt with a statement print back to life, reprint a lost game piece, or design a stamp: MeetUp at the Humboldt Forum!
In this three-hour workshop, anyone interested—with or without prior experience—is invited to explore various maker space technologies. On various dates (see below), we’ll explain how to use laser cutters, 3D printers, cutting plotters, sewing machines, and embroidery machines to create useful items for everyday life.
Inspired by the museum’s current exhibitions and themes, you can design and create your own graphics and objects on a laptop using Inkscape or Tinkercad. If you’re skilled enough, you can take a finished product home with you at the end.
Space is limited. Please pick up one free admission ticket per person at the box office in the foyer on the day of the event! This workshop is not suitable for children and teens under 16 years of age.
