In the organizer's words:
Opera Without Words
For Augustin Hadelich, Mozart’s works tell stories: “He was a composer who always thought in dramatic terms, in narrative arcs; he wrote operas—and much of his instrumental music is composed in exactly that same language,” explains the German-American violinist. In his concert, which takes place one day before the composer’s birthday, the musicians celebrate him with three such instrumental stories—Mozart’s Second and Third Violin Concertos, as well as his Symphony in A major.
