In celebration of Open Monument Day and as part of the special exhibition “Out of the Shadows,” the Düsseldorf ToyPiano Festival invites you to an extraordinary musical journey through time at the Goethe Museum. Ludwig van Beethoven’s monumental Piano Concerto No. 5, “Emperor,” as well as the delicate songs of Bettina von Arnim, will be performed on small and large keyboard instruments. Soloist Dr. Frederike Möller will perform the virtuoso piano part and host the afternoon, offering fascinating insights into the friendship between von Arnim and Beethoven. She will be masterfully accompanied by the Ensemble Musiklabor at this top-tier cultural highlight.
