Löwenzahnhonig
In the organizer's words:
Cherry Blossom Boogie
The Swiss instrumental trioLöwenzahnhonigis back with a cinematic, slow-grooving single—somewhere between Alpine Zen surf, dreamy slow pop, and chamber music psychedelia. A guitar shimmers like sunlight through the cracks in old barn wood, the bass tells a story with patience, and the drums breathe in landscapes rather than in beats. It brings to mind Khruangbin, Tortoise, or Yo La Tengo—music for everyone who doesn’t just listen, but drifts along with it. A quiet dance through memory and light.
It was the height of summer when Löwenzahnhonig moved into the barn. No studio, no big-city noise, no everyday worries. Just the air, heavy with sun-dust and the scent of blossoms, the milky light filtering through the cracks in the wooden beams, and a collection of instruments that sounded as if from another time. There, where the pressure of time had no hold, *Kirschblütenboogie* was born—an album like a Super 8 film set to music: shimmering, yellowed, full of quiet precision. Löwenzahnhonig sounds as if someone had slowed down the tempo of pop music to give it room to breathe again. Guitar lines creep through the window like rays of sunlight; the bass is a patient storyteller; the drums prefer to think in landscapes rather than in measures.
