A Tradition of 1,000 Lights

The enchanting Festival of Lights at Westfalenpark in Dortmund—a sparkling world of light and color. Since 1959, this radiant tradition has invited visitors of all ages every year in late summer to experience Westfalenpark in Dortmund bathed in a sea of lights. Known for its luminous splendor, the event combines tradition and innovation into a unique feast for the senses.
Illuminated backdrops, live music, artistic performances, entertainment on the lawns and paths for young and old alike, and a variety of culinary delights!

The fairy-tale area at the Regenbogenhaus becomes a wonderland for children—with a fire show, fairies, and interactive craft stations.
The children’s fireworks display (around 8:45 p.m.) is a special highlight on the Ruhrallee lawn that will sparkle in the eyes of the youngest guests.

Look forward to a spectacular closing fireworks display set to music, considered the largest and most beautiful aerial fireworks display in the region!

Single ticket: €14.50
Small group I: €29.00
Small group II: €43.50
Single ticket: Adults, teens, and children ages 6 and up
Small Group I: One adult + up to four children aged 6 and older
Small group II: Two adults + up to four children under 18 years of age

Holders of an annual pass, a Dortmund Card, and children under 6 years of age are entitled to free admission.
The RUHR.TOPCARD is not valid.
