With her latest album, “Courageuses,” she explores female strength in all its facets: quiet, combative, contradictory, and unyielding. Her chansons straddle the line between the classical French chanson tradition and contemporary songwriting, carried by a distinctive voice, a subtle feel for language, and a powerful stage presence.
