Lauf gegen die (soziale) Kälte

A celebration of social work! Making the silent forces in society visible - that is the aim of the new campaign by artist Heinz Ratz, which began in Flensburg in April and will take him to over eighty cities across Germany.

What exactly is it about?

In April, Ratz launched his "Alternative Gutmensch" project. His aim is to raise public awareness of the people and institutions that work tirelessly to alleviate social and individual hardship and stand for peaceful, open-minded and supportive coexistence in a time of general social hardening.

When and how?

Starting in April and continuing into 2027, he will be playing concerts with many artists in hospices, homeless shelters, facilities for people with disabilities, etc. in around 80 German cities. In Oldenburg, for example Oldenburg on 23.06.2026 in the afternoon at the Lambertistift, ibis e.V., the Lebensimpulse association (AWO) and the "Frisbee" youth club (AWO). In the evening, there will be a public concert in the PFL with all participants , where the institutions can present themselves and collect donations for important projects.
