In this guided tour, curators Julia Grosse and Christopher Wierling offer insights into the exhibition*Gabriele Stötzer: Be There and Don’t Stay Silent*.
Starting in June 2026, the Gropius Bau will present“Being There and Not Remaining Silent,” the artist’s largest institutional solo exhibition to date. Featuring approximately 150 works, the exhibition highlights the diversity of her experimental practice—spanning painting, literature, photography, textile art, Super 8 film, performance, and public art interventions—and aims to serve as a catalyst for the long-overdue broader recognition of this pioneering artist.
