Kostproben - ein musikalisch- literarischer Feierabend

You can get a “taste” of the Wortklang project group on Thursday, September 24, at 6:00 p.m., during a musical and literary after-work gathering featuring guest musician Edgardo Rodo. Everyone is welcome to sing along and join in the conversation, embracing a variety of melodies and languages. At the participatory buffet, you can try Bütterken, Kniffte, and Bemme with a twist—hearty and spicy, fruity and sweet, or topped Rhineland-style.

With the “Wortklang” project, we aim to reach out to people with an immigrant background who want to expand their German language skills in an unconventional way and practice their fluency. Musicians from various cultural backgrounds accompany the project. The “Wortklang” workshops are also places for encounters and for cultural and creative exchange. Wortklang is a partner project of the integration provider AWO and is recognized as a low-threshold language course; the program is funded by the Municipal Integration Center of the City of Düsseldorf and the Landesmusikrat NRW e.
