A summer evening, fresh popcorn, and a great documentary: We invite you to our summer movie night at the Academy on Wednesday, July 1.

We’ll be screening the award-winning documentary “Finding Vivian Maier”

," which tells the fascinating

story of photographer Vivian Maier. Largely unknown during her lifetime, Maier created an impressive body of photographic work comprising more than 100,000 images. It wasn’t until after her death that her negatives were discovered by chance. The film follows the search for the woman behind the images and sheds light on her life, her working methods, and the question of why such a significant photographer never sought the public eye.

Come join us for a movie night and let yourself be inspired by a story about photography, art, and the discovery of a hidden talent. Of course, we’ll have popcorn!

Our Klickclub:

A photo get-together for everyone! Let’s watch films together, look at pictures, flip through photo books, review work, and just hang out over a drink. We’ll prepare a little something, and you just stop by. We’re open to ideas and suggestions, topics, and requests. The AFF Klickclub always starts at 6:30 p.m. at our space on Hasselbrookstraße and is open to anyone interested in exploring photography. Come by and enjoy a nice evening with us!
