In the organizer's words:
Live Nation Presents
KING NO-ONE
The indie rockers from Manchester are coming to Germany in November for four shows
Over the past ten years,King No-Onehas gone from busking in their hometown of York to playing sold-out venues across the UK and Central Europe, as well as performing at the Reading & Leeds Festival and the Crossroads Festival. Without a record label behind them, the trio released a total of 21 singles and two EPs by 2025, generating over 40 million streams, reaching the Top 40 on the UK charts, and selling over 35,000 tickets. The band then set its sights on the next major milestone in its career and released its long-awaited debut album, *The Burden of Empathy*, on April 24, 2026. In November,King No-Onewill perform in Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, and Cologne as part of theirThe Burden Of Empathy Tour 2026to present this debut album live. King No-Onewas formed in York in 2013 by frontman Zach Lount, guitarist Joseph Martin, and bassist Robert Gration. The trio, now based in Manchester, got their start busking on rainy, cold streets across the UK. With their raw, energetic live shows, the band quickly made the leap to smaller venues, where they were able to build their reputation nationwide through their performances. Starting in 2015, they also released their first singles, which solidified the band’s versatile indie sound and led them to a show at The Great Escape in Brighton in 2016. Following additional singles in the years that followed, such as the hit track“Antichrist,”their debut EP“OOMM” was released in 2019. Also in 2019,King No-Onecelebrated the most successful single of their career to date with“Alcatraz,”which was followed by additional singles and“The Dead Hotel – EP”(2023) through 2024. The fact that singer and lyricist Zach Lount has never shied away from raw honesty—and that his lyrics are as revealing as they are relatable—becomes clear in 2025 with the song“Transgressions.”The song is a modern indie rock anthem about defying social norms and served as the first single from the debut album“The Burdenof Empathy,” which propelled the band to No. 29 on the UK album charts. On it,King No-Onecreatesasoundtrack that blends indie rock vibes with “Brit-alt-rock,” one that is “glamorous and catchy” with a “certain vintage feel” and is packed with the “perfect ingredients that good pop music needs”: “songs, sounds, and expressiveness,” as WDR Rockpalast aptly described the British band’s music as early as 2024.
