When Katharina Gruber (vocals) and Christian Gruber (guitar)—daughter and dad—share the stage, that’s exactly what happens. The duo combines great musical sensitivity with an openness that resonates immediately. The duo’s concerts thrive on intimacy, warmth, and a sense of togetherness that makes the audience feel welcome—almost as if they were part of the family for the evening.

Following their acclaimed concerts over the past two years, we are delighted to welcome both artists back as our guests this year—with their “éternelles” program, which is a huge hit with audiences: this year peppered with beautiful new songs that will be performed in Pasing for the very first time.

“éternelles”— “the Eternal Ones”—is a tribute to four female singers and songwriters who not only left behind something eternal as great artistic figures of the world, but who also created timeless—indeed, eternal—compositions or made such works immortal through their interpretations,

We’re talking about Edith Piaf, Ella Fitzgerald, Carole King, and Joni Mitchell.

Katharina Gruber and Christian Gruber adore these four—and this is clearly evident when they interpret a selection of the icons’ greatest songs in their very own style: musically refined, attentive, and with plenty of space for the nuances of instrument and voice.
