Kaiserschmarrn-Contest: Die Revanche der Giganten

Note:This event isnot vegan. The focus is on classic Kaiserschmarrn variations prepared according to Austrian tradition.

Austria’s sweetest national dish will once again take center stage in 2026: Three top chefs will compete against each other in the legendary Kaiserschmarrn Contest. Defending champion Sebastian Frank, a two-star chef at Horváth, aims to defend his title from last year. He’ll be challenged by Nikodemus Berger, a Michelin-starred chef at Bonvivantand last year’s finalist, as well as by Lucas Huemer, executive chef at the Austrian Embassy in Berlin, who is entering the competition for the first time.

Important:To ensure that as many guests as possible can experience the Kaiserschmarrn Contest, the event will take placein two identical time slots. You can choose between2:00–5:00 p.m.or6:00–9:00 p.m. Both time slots can be booked via this ticket link.The program, chefs, and tastings are identical in both sessions.

Upon entry, all visitors will receive a personal ballot to vote for their favorite.The votes from both time slots will be tallied together at the end of the day to crown the winner of the 2026 FeelAustria Kaiserschmarrn Contest.

Throughout the event, guests will enjoy a selection of drinks—included in the price—inspired by Austrian culinary culture. Our partners are Vöslauer and Almdudler.Abeer tasting is also on the agenda. The beverage menu includes:

• Non-alcoholic cocktails
• Alcoholic cocktails

In addition, there is a dedicated wine bar featuring exquisite wines fromthe Leitner Wineryin theVulkanland Steiermark wine region. This family-run winery is known for its distinctive Austrian wines and invites guests to discover and enjoy them. The wine is also included in the ticket price.

Guests can sample different variations of Kaiserschmarrn at all three stations, vote for their favorite, and—with a little luck—receive exclusive tips for the perfect Kaiserschmarrn directly from the top chefs.

Entertainment is provided by a games and fun corner with table tennis, which is open throughout the event and offers space for casual conversations and breaks.
