Jung und radikal — Eine Filmreihe der Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung inkl. Podiumsgespräch

How do young people come to join radical ideologies or groups? What role do personal, social and political factors play in this process? And what does this mean for those affected, their families and society as a whole?

The film series addresses these questions and invites viewers to look at radicalization processes among young people from different perspectives.

The screenings will be followed by moderated panel discussions with filmmakers and content experts who will classify and explain the film content. The audience will have the opportunity to get involved and ask their own questions.

For the third screening in the series on June 16, we will welcome director Mareike Engelhardt and Dženeta Isaković from Mosaik Deutschland e.V. for a panel discussion following the drama "Rabia". Together, they will provide insights into the cinematic examination of Islamist radicalization processes and classify what they have seen - in particular the role and targeted recruitment of young women - from an artistic and preventive perspective.
