We think we know his story. A man whose name has become synonymous with betrayal: Judas Iscariot. His kiss changed the world. But do we know the whole truth? In every age, there are new speculations about Judas’s largely selfish motives. Now it is time for the disciple himself to speak.

Stepping out of the shadows of centuries of vilification, he steps into the spotlight to show us that the story can also be told differently—namely, as the service of a friend who helped Jesus carry out his plan: to die in order to become immortal. Was it all predestination, free will, or even a chain of unfortunate coincidences?

Judas’ self-staged show is at once an eyewitness account, a defense speech, and an image campaign. The monologue takes place in local church spaces, transforming them into participants in the performance.
