Juan Pablo Ortiz Carrera (MA) - TriChrome: TriChrome explores the subtle tensions between cultures, characters and sound. As a trio of three musical "colors", the formation unites musicians from China as well as from Ecuador and Colombia in South America in an encounter across great distances, characterized by differences and resonance. With a feel for space, texture and quiet intensity, they create music beyond fixed categories: grounded and at the same time flexible, fragile and yet determined. Restraint, tonal dialog and a shared curiosity for the invisible define the artistic approach.

Moritz Christiansen (MA): In the new trio, Moritz Christiansen, Anton Deyß and Alex Petratos develop an independent sound language in which minimalism, atmosphere and melody are precisely related to each other. Characteristic is the lack of bass in the instrumentation, which keeps the overall sound transparent and allows the space between the voices to be heard as a creative element. The simplicity of the compositions does not serve the purpose of reduction for its own sake, but rather sharpens contour and progression: Dense moods and a concentrated, nuanced musical narrative emerge from a few, clearly placed motifs.
