Jazzmeile: CuadroSol

For over ten years, the ensemble has been delighting audiences with its blend of jazz, Brazilian songs, tangos, and German chansons from the 1920s and 1930s. When CuadroSol takes the stage, a musical journey full of colors and moods begins. At the heart of it all is the expressive voice of Marisol Scholdei-Röttger, accompanied by Alexander Rösler on double bass and Johannes Gromer on guitar. Since 2015, Hendrik Lessmann has expanded the ensemble with accordion and drums, adding even more sonic variety.

The result is a lively dialogue of styles—at times intimate and melancholic, at other times rhythmic and rousing. CuadroSol promises a jazz experience that will linger in your memory.
