Hendrik Säck grew up in an environment teeming with instruments, as the entire family of the Detmold-born bassist was involved in a variety of musical activities. Today, after studying sound engineering at the Erich Thienhaus Institute of the Hochschule für Musik in his home town, he is responsible for the good sound in the Unterfahrt. But Hendrik is also very active as a musician and, after playing saxophone, piano and guitar, he feels particularly at home on the electric bass.
